Dawn Chorus

Dawn Chorus came together in the summer of 2014, the two men meeting in a cafe in a village in France. Folk is rare in the south but after the mixed first gig in Sophia Antipolis, they recorded some songs and were accepted to play in the Glasgow concert hall January 2015.

Local radio really liked their sound and are waiting to play their e.p. when it is done.

They have a few of their own songs written by Stam, but they play a choice of Celtic songs and covers of many types of folk from the Irish to the US, to England and will of course play a special  number from France.

More gigs are planned in France and England this year but this invitation to Umea is a real highlight. It will motivate them to make sure the first full c.d. is completed by the end of 2016.
