Limbohofvet

Limbohofvet has established themselves at the scenes as a fiery strong trio on fiddle with an enormous appetite on Swedish folk music. The band was started in 2009 and has since released the critically acclaimed record "Klingande klenoder" and they have been touring on galas and festivals. Emma Ahlberg, Johanna Karlsson and Lena Jonsson all have a true skill in treating their fiddle, everyone with their own style put together into the very special style of Limbohofvet. When these three skillful fiddleplayers pull the bows a musical adventure starts, giving life to joy of the gurgling spring stream, as well as the darkest misery and moaning of november rain, and all in between. It´s moving, it´s fun and it´s shrewd - three fiddles glowing with energy. Playing songs from Hälsingland and Medelpad as well as their own compositions, this is folk music at its best!
