Tony Wrethling

Tony Wrethling, a renowed and awardwinner from Gästrikland, has since the seventees formed a heavy repertoire of songs from the many different corners of Gästrikland. Playing with preferences for the intricate and difficult traditon from Gästrikland, going way back to the 18th century. The songs are played all over Gästrikland, giving the landscape its special form. 1976 Tony played for a jury and was immediatly awarded silver prize and take on the identity of "national folk musician". Tony was awarded the golden prize in 2005 and is also a member of the Zorn jury since 2006.
