Umefolk presents the winners of the contest Best young folk music band 2015!

In the friendship of Vågspel the playing has character similar to the vegan cake frosting, that you just can´t have enough of! Despite having roots in Stockholm and Telemark, Alice and Kristin came together on the fields of Västergötland where they grey up. Today they study classical violin together at the Conservatory for music in Falun, and when the hours of rehearsal just feel too long they hide away to a silent corner and let them selves into the magical powers of folk music. Together they wish to experience as many different corners possible of the world, finding inspiration in old and new music.
