How to increase the number of acitivites with folk and world music in the North?

Seminar for organizers of folk and world music and everyone interested in subjects of organizing. 

The National organization for folk music and dance come to Umeå to listen to the present status of member organizations and others in Northern Sweden, and to tell about news in the music business. Among other subjects there will be talks about new structures for national tours. Often tours in the North are more expensive and aquires longer journeys than in the South - so what is important to have in mind when forming new structures for money support and tour models, to make it possible for organizers all over the country to take part of these kinds of cooperations? Another subject is how the cooperation with the "Regional music" can be further developed. Is there any institution in the Norh able to coordinate tours?
